McCollum, Archibald.    2nd Wisconsin

He was the uncle to Henry McCollum who was killed at Gettysburg.  Archibald served along side Henry in the same unit.  His Brother James also enlisted at the same time as Henry in the 2nd Wisconsin but left to become a surgeon for the 26th Wisconsin.  - Paula Talbot

Archibald enlisted on June 15, 1861 and was a resident of Poynette near Portage, Wisconsin.  He was a corporal and during his service fought at Gainesville and Gettysburg.  His term expired in June of 1864.
